Introduction
Welcome to the Emotionally Preparing for Childbirth workshop! This online course is designed specifically for expectant mothers who want to emotionally prepare for childbirth in the comfort of their own homes. Drawing from my own personal experience and professional expertise, I've crafted a comprehensive program that will guide you through this transformative journey.
How It Works?
You will receive a total of 14 assignments via email, spaced out over 41 days. With one email assignment every three days, you'll have ample time to complete each task. This workshop is structured into three main parts, each addressing specific aspects of your emotional preparation for childbirth.
Part 1 - Understanding Pregnancy Emotions
In the initial phase of the workshop, we will delve into your emotions concerning pregnancy. We'll explore how cultural influences shape your transition to parenthood through the first three assignments.
Part 2 - Preparing for Childbirth
The core of this workshop focuses on childbirth preparation. Through five creative exercises, we will navigate your feelings about birth. The final two assignments are tailored to help you identify any concerns you may have about childbirth and develop a personalized Birth Plan.
Part 3 - Practical Techniques
The last segment of this course is hands-on and practical. You'll learn techniques to release control and manage overwhelming emotions. These exercises are meant to be practiced regularly until your delivery day.
To fully engage in this workshop, you'll need some basic materials, including a printer (optional), pens, drawing supplies (color pencils, watercolors, crayons, markers), and optional items like colorful papers, glitters, or natural materials. You'll also require glue, scissors, and a music player (e.g., a cell phone or a computer) to play provided audio files.
Incorporating creative elements into this workshop is essential for self-expression. You don't need to be an artist or writer; creativity is a means of reaching emotions beyond words.
